February 17, 2012 - February 19, 2012
Pheasant Fest | at Kansas City Convention Center, Kansas City, MO

The SMCNA will once again have a booth at Pheasant Fest. Ken Hamele has generously offered to organize the event. Activities will include "The Parade of Dogs", and the opportunity to help man our booth along with your favorite SM in order to help educate attendees to the qualities of our dogs. If you can help the club by participating in this event it would be greatly appreciated. You are welcome to help for a few hours or days. There are also great seminars and booths to peruse. The SMCNA booth seems to always be one of the most popular , but we can't do it without the help of our members. If you can find time in your schedule to attend this event please contact Ken Hamele at 1-402-936-0229 or e-mail him at: ken.hamele@cox.net

About The SMCNA

Mission, Goals and Purpose of the Club

The club's mission is to promote responsible ownership of the Small Münsterländer. To that end, the SMCNA will encourage training, testing, and hunting. Additionally, the club recognizes the Small Munsterlander to be a versatile hunting dog, accepts the Standard of the breed as set forth by the German Verband for Kleine Munsterlander and adopted by the FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale) as the only standard of conformation by which the Small Munsterlander shall be judged, and encourages testing, training and breeding that conforms to accepted standards. Any deviation from those standards, derived from differences in language, locality or test requirements, could be accepted if those deviations would not lead to any outward differences in appearance, temperament or character.

SMCNA is governed by a Board of Directors which consists of an elected President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Registrar. The Breed Council manages the SMCNA's breeding program.
